MMA Fighter Spotlight: Mario Aguilar

On Saturday May 7th, Mario "The Infamous Spider" Aguilar of Team Tubbs put on one of his best performance's inside the cage at WXC 29: Victorious held in Detroit, Michigan. Aguilar, a resident of Ecorse fought Darryol Humphery of Flint tooth and nail for three-three minute rounds in their Featherweight bout. The two waged a war of epic proportions that showed the crowd at the Cobo Hall Center exactly how two combatants play this game we call Mixed Martial Arts. Although Aguilar won this contest via unanimous decision, Humphery showed every bit of his 10+ bout experience and gave it his best! With the victory, Mario Aguilar is now 8-4-1 and holds 2 Amatuer MMA titles to his credit. This is the first of many showcases we at Holy Smokes are presenting called the MMA Fighter Spotlight.

Ever wonder what it takes to be an MMA Fighter???
