I went 4-7 on my picks for UFC 115. Not really good but that just shows anything can happen in the great sport of Mixed Marital Atrs. It was a very good show overall. Sad to see Chuck Liddell go out with a KO loss but he went out like a Warrior.
Next up...TUF 11 Finale on 6/19/10, WEC 49: Varner vs. Shalorus on 6/20/10 and then UFC 116: Lesnar vs. Carwin on 7/3/10.

I knew it was a long shot, but I had secretly hoped for a Chuck Liddell comeback. KO-ing people left and right like he used to. Ah well, I guess out with the old and in with the new as they say. I look forward to your "Tribute to Chuck Liddell" blog post!! He's had some great fights.
All in all that was a good evening of fights. I was really impressed by Rory Macdonald. We haven't see the last of him yet, he's got some serious skills.
I Thought up until the point where Chuck got knocked out, that he was preforming very well. His strikes were crisp and landing well, he got a takedown, he ended up breaking Rich's arm about two minutes in with a kick. He just overmitted on a strike in which Franklin was able to blast him with a right cross and it landed right on the button. Liddell was out before he hit the ground. To think, there was only 5 ticks left in the round. Wow!
I'm probably not going to do a "whole" Tribute to Chuck post so I'll just thank him here.
Mr. Chuck Liddell...thank you for all your year's of service in the UFC and to the great sport of Mixed Martial Arts. You will be greatly missed. I will never forget your great wars with the likes of Randy Couture, Tito Ortiz, Babalu, Vitor Belfort, Rampage Jackson and Wanderlei Silva. A lot of people don't talk about it but you carried the UFC flag well during the PRIDE FC years and went 2-1 against great competition in Japan. Seeing you lose made my heart sink but each time you came back and showed us your true Heart and carried yourself like a real Champion. For that...THANK YOU!!!
