I went 8-3 on my picks for this event. The President of the UFC, Dana White, said that this card was the best event of his entire career. Wow! I couldn't agree more. The way every fight that made the air played out was absolutley outstanding. We saw knockout's, submission's, TKO's and all out war's. Going 8-3 overall was probably the best I have done in a while. Dana White also said that there would be more Fight Night bonuses to be given other than what was listed. My guess is Chris Lytle for his armbar victory and Romero/Petruzelli for their two round burn burner got some extra grease for their efforts.

Now that Brock Lesnar is the #1 HW in MMA on this planet. All roads lead towards him. Next up is a bout against #1 contender Cain Velasquez that could possibly be set for Indianapolis, Indiana at UFC 119 in September. If so, I will be there to watch it myself. There is nothing like a live UFC event. Hopefully, they'll make a return to Detroit in late 2010 or 2011.

Next UFC event...UFC on Versus 2: Jones vs. Matyushenko on 8/1/2010.
